Fact of Life is a half-brother to the legendary "Fuerst Gotthard" aka "The Titleist", and a son of one of the most influential show-jumping stallions, First Gotthard. Fact of Life's pedigree combines the two most famous G-line stallions, Gotthard and Grande, as well as the highly sought after Furiso II. His sire, First Gotthard, was one of only 2 stallions whose pedigree containted the extraorinady combination of Gotthard and Furiso II. He was produced by the famous Hanoverian breeder Georg Vorwerk, and stood in Germany along with stallions such as Furiso II, Inschallah, Zeus and Westminster. During the years that First Gotthard stood in Germany he was ranked in the top 10% of producers for jumpers among stallions in his age group, he had a jumping index of 142. Fact of Life's brother-Fuerst Gotthard was a highly sucessful show jumper who won multiple Grand Prix's and World Cup Classes wither riders such as Hap Hansen and Robert Ridland. He was a highly sought after breeding stallion here on the west coast, until passing away last year. Fact of Life's dam is our very own Life is Life. Life was highly sucessful at the shows in Germany through level "M" with her young rider, and continued her sucess in the USA after being imported.
First Gotthard(left); Fuerst Gotthard(right)
Fact of Life is the only stallion son of First Gotthard remaining, and one of very few stallions in the world to posess the combination of bloodlines, with multiple foundation sires only a few generations back in his pedigree. He began his competition career in 2010, and so far has been moving through the jumper levels with ease. He has earner multiple tri-color ribbons, and at his last show he jumped a double-clear round in each one of his classes. He is proving to be very athletic, with a huge yet easily adjustable stride, a big, round jump and breathtaking movement. In additional to his physical qualities he has a wonderful temperament, he is very easy to handle and has a friendly, playful personality. At shows he is rountinly one of the easiest horses in the barn to manage and handle, and has been known to fall asleep virtually in Liz's lap.
As his competion season progresses we will be adding new pictures and video often! He will be standing to a limited book as we are pursuing his career in the show arena. For more information please contact us directly.

Life is Life
Life is Life is our foundation broodmare. She was retired as a broodmare after a very successful career in the jumper ring. Her pedigree contains many of the most influential stallions in the Hanoverian breed, with a lot of the "old blood" very close. Her sire is Liabach, tracing back to the famous Der Loewe XX, and her dam-sire is Graphit by Grande. She has proven to be a great producer, passing on her incredible athleticism and jumping ability to her foals, while allowing the sire to stamp his foals. She consistently produces a modern style sport-horse without sacrificing bone or strength. The video shows her free jumping a 5'+ fence.
