The Hanoverian Sport Horse

At Pair of Aces Stables we take great pride in breeding the Hanoverian Sport Horse. We are currently focusing on horses with a strong G-line influence; this line is particularly known for their versatility, excelling at both jumping and dressage, with a large powerful body that stands up to the rigors of competition. Our breeding goal is to maintain the bone and strength that the G-line horses are known for, while producing a horse with a more modern build. Our broodmare, Life is Life, has a very strong G-line influence on her dams side, with a strong L-line influence coming from her sire's side. In 2002 we bred her to First Gottard in an effort to create a horse with good bone, a great temperament and the jumping ability to make it to the very top levels of competition. In 2003 she gave us a colt that exceeded our every expectation, Fact of Life. He is a stallion which we are tentatively planning on presenting to the American Warmblood Registry and to the American Hanoverian Society next year.

Life is Life

Life is Life is our foundation broodmare. She was retired after a very successful career in the jumper ring and is now strictly a broodmare. Her pedigree contains many of the most influential stallions in the Hanoverian breed, with a lot of the "old blood" very close. Her sire is Liabach, tracing back to the famous Der Loewe XX, and her dam-sire is Graphit by Grande. She has proven to be a great producer, passing on her incredible athleticism and jumping ability to her foals, while allowing the stallion to improve on gaits and overall build, she consistently produces a modern style sport-horse without sacrificing bone or strength.

Fact of Life

Fact of Life is our 2003 Hanoverian stallion by the legendary First Gottard, and out of our German imported mare Life is Life. He shows incredibly promise both as a show jumper and as a dressage prospect. His under saddle career is just beginning, and we plan on presenting him to the AWR and to the AHS next year. He is shown here at 4 years. We are currently offering a free breeding to 2 select mares!! These two mares will receiving a breeding for only the cost of collection and shipping ($275/collection).
