Facilities and Amenities
Located on 20 acres, Haywire Ranch is home to 1 indoor arena, 3 outdoor arena's and a large round pen. The largest outdoor arena, measuring approx. 150'x250' is home to our jumping course, and the indoor which measures approx 75'x110' provides shelter from inclement weather at any time of year. The arena's are outfitted with a sprinkler system which allows us to maintain the footing for optimum performance, and of course helps with dust control. There is also direct access to all of Washoe Valley's beautiful trails from the facility; the ride to the lake, beach and the sand dunes is under 5 minutes.
Aside from the arena's Haywire Ranch offers a beautiful 9 stall barn, with 12'x12' stalls, some with runs, a very large tack room, and a feed room. Pasture boarding is also available. There are 4 large pasture areas on the property, which can house up to 4 horses each. Each pasture varies slightly in size, the smallest being approx. 2 acres, and there is ample room in each for the horses to move about freely. All the pasture areas are equipped with large automatic waters.
All horses are fed hay twice a day-both grass an alfalfa are available, and any owner-provided grain or supplements. Turnout for stalled horses as well as blanketing services are also provided. Special requests can usually be accommodated. Boarding rates start at $285/month.
