Lesson and Training Rates
Information on our standard training and lesson plans is below. Please remember that we offer custom training schedules and that we discuss goals for every horse and rider when determining the correct training program. We always take individual concerns as well as financial restraints into account and pride ourselves on being able to work for and accommodate our customers. All training is discussed with the owner prior to initiation, goals for each month are set and owners are encouraged to actively participate in the horses care and training. Owners are kept fully informed of all progress and any issues which arise during the training period. We also guarantee that there will never be any undisclosed "surprise" fees to pay. Also, unlike many other full training programs, all of our horses in the full training program are not required to pay that Day feee at horse shows, only the split expenses and a grooming fee if applicable.
Lessons:
1 Hour Private : $40
-all beginners lessons include a full introduction to horsemanship, skills such as catching, haltering, grooming and tacking the horse are taught in addition to mounted instruction.
Training Packages:
*Please note that prices do not include board if desired, and that all packages are prepaid on a monthly basis*
Full Training: $450/month
-includes 5 rides* per week as needed, and up to 3 rides may be substituted for lessons, basic clipping (muzzle, fetlocks, bridle path), basic care (nicks, cuts, etc small issues not needing veterinary attention), and scheduling and holding for necessary appointments (chiropractor, etc per owner’s instructions).
*on occasion a lunge or similar workout may be substituted for a ride based on trainer’s evaluation of the horses needs on that day.
Half Training: $325/month
-includes 3 rides per week and up to 2 rides may be substituted for lessons, basic clipping (muzzle, fetlocks, bridle path) and basic care (nicks, cuts, etc small issues not needing veterinary attention)
2 rides per week: $200/month
1 ride per week: $100/month
Show Pricing:
Day Fee: $50/day
*Grooming: $25/day
Trailering Fee: $0.75/mile/horse
Day fee applies to all days at a show where the rider receives mounted instruction and/or the trainer rides the horse. Please note that horses in our full training program are exempt from the Day fee at horse shows.
*Grooming fee applies to all days at a show where owner/rider does not participate and assist in the grooming/tacking/cleaning of the horse/stall/tack/etc.
Note: At all shows trainers hotel and food expenses will be split equally by number of clients at show.
