“Allegro” is a been-there-done that, 13 year old 16.2, hand bay gelding with all the skills and buttons to teach his next rider the ropes. He is easy to get to the ring, no prep required and a total confidence builder.

His resume speaks for itself - with a long list of wins and placings in the Short Stirrup through 3’ Hunters, Eq and National Hunter Derbies. Highlights include:

• 2021 USHJA 2’6” Hunter Division Champion,

• 3rd place finish in the Jr/Am Franktown Meadows Hunter Derby

• Reserve Champion 2023 SNHSA Jr/Am Medal Finals

• Many, many Hunter, Medal and Derby miles at both local and A/AA rated shows.

  Allegro has 3 comfortable gaits, auto changes, a rubber snaffle mouth and so kind and simple that you can really focus on your own learning. 

His ideal job is taking a rider from x-rails through the 2’9”/3’. So if you are looking for a horse to help you take the next step in your riding,  learn the skills to get from the crossrails into the 3’ ring, and have fun on and win at the shows - Allegro is your guy.
